Golf Industry Show
 The
Golf Industry Show is the annual trade show serving the business
of golf. Presented by the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA),
the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and
the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), with supporting
partners the American Society of Golf Course Architects, the
Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) and the National
Golf Foundation (NGF), the show is the best place for golf industry
and club management professionals to see the latest products
and learn the latest trends in the business.

Solution Centers
ASGCA is proud to be a supporting partner of the show and,
in that role, actively participates in promoting the show
and developing education. One of the most visible projects
ASGCA is involved in is the “Solution Centers.”
At the inaugural Golf Industry Show in Orlando, Fla., in 2004,
ASGCA worked with the Golf Course Builders Association of
America to pull off the “Building of the Green,”
the construction of a 2,500 sq. foot golf green in the middle
of the trade show floor. Photos of the green can be seen below.
As in years past, ASGCA will again participate in a Solution
Center directed towards the latest trends in golf course construction and maintenance
at the 2009 Golf Industry Show, scheduled for Feb. 5-7
in New Orleans, LA.
Education
ASGCA
members will be involved in a number of education sessions,
including Remodeling University, the popular
annual “Guest Architect” class where non-architects
have the opportunity to design a golf course from scratch
on paper, the topical “Trends in Contemporary Golf Course
Architecture” panel discussion and several other offerings
currently in development.
ASGCA Booth
Located not far from the Golf Course Solutions Center,
ASGCA will exhibit on the trade show floor in New Orleans' Ernest N. Morial
